Manowar @ O2 Academy Birmingham (2011)

Back in March 2011, power Metal giants, Manowar finally made their long awaited return to the UK to play a sold out Birmingham O2 Academy. I was lucky enough to be the only photographer in the whole of the UK allowed to shoot this concert. This was by far the biggest gig I have ever had the honor of photographing. Hell @ Bloodstock Open Air 2011

For the opening band on the last day of Bloodstock, Hell managed to summon the support of a sizeable crowd and turned out to be the surprise band of the festival. Certanly worth checking out if old school heavy metal is your thing.

Therion @ Bloodstock Open Air 2011

The Best band of Bloodstock Festival 2011? Many would disagree with me but honestly Swedish symphonic metal band, Therion blew me away! Operatic, fun and overall entertaining, Thrion were an absolute joy to photograph.
