Bloodstock 2010

Three weeks removed from the 10th Anniversary of Bloodstock and I’m still in the process of editing a huge collection of photos from what turned out to be an epic festival.

The weather this year was little shot of disastrous. Short bursts of torrential rain hit hard from day one and overnight had transformed the campsite into a sodden, muddy marsh. Despite the atrocious conditions, campers seemed more than amped up for what was to be the biggest BOA since its humble beginnings back in 2001. The line up this year was stacked to say the least. Boasting a plethora of bands such metal giants Opeth, Fear Factory, Children of Bodom and Cannibal Corpse.

Overall this was a brilliant festival and probably my favourite Bloodstock despite the atrocious weather. Be sure to keep your eyes on my blog for the next few weeks. I will be posting photos and short reviews of some of the acts I got to shoot, such as Korpiklaani, Sonata Arctica, Doro and Evile.
